Notes: | Architectural Members Left in Section: 6. Poros parapet cap-stone lying in Byz. wall at 14/ΣΤ. Roughly hewn coarse poros, badly broken away at both ends and along top. Peak of gable cannot be directly measured but is estimated from the inclination of the sides of gable. Thick coat of plaster (0.01) consisting of 2 under coats and a fine outer coat, all of marble dust. The stone is unusual in that the cop course of the wall is cut in the same block as the gable-shaped cap-stone. |
